The Optimist OneSails P1 mainsail has taken the class by storm. The? OneSails loft in Solvenia makes these sails under the careful guidance of Mauricio Bencic. Mr. Bencic has been in charge of Optimist sail design since 2007. As an accomplished sailor and past Optimist racer, he is highly regarded in the development of Optimist sails and associated rigging and tuning throughout the world.

Design Details
Optimist OneSails P1 mainsail is made from the highest quality materials and craftsmanship. It is truly performance without compromises.
- Special Sailcloth- The sailcloth itself is the core ingredient that provides superior performance and durability. OneSails uses a unique super stable Dacron cloth
with fine yarns, a tight weave, and a special polyurethane coating which provides a hard layer to stabilize the yarns. This ensures that the sail is not only very stable but still allows
it to be trimmed to perfection across a wide range of conditions on the modern racing Optimist rig. - 7 laser cut broad seams- All OneSails Optimist P1 mainsails are laser cut on computer controlled plotters guaranteeing the most accurate cutting and assembly of the sail.
The 7 broad seams are carefully positioned to ensure the ultimate control of the foil shape in every part of the sail
